Laboratory Technician

Our brand new, state-of-the-art Material Research Center, InTire Labs,
started its operations this year and we are now looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Tampere, Finland as a substitute for parental leave.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for preparing samples, operating testing equipment, and accurately collecting and reporting measurement data. If you are precise and organized laboratory professional, this is the opportunity for you.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare laboratory samples for tests and analysis.
- Operate laboratory testing and analysis equipment in physical and analytical laboratory.
- Collect, document, and report measurement data accurately.
Our expectations:
- Degree in a laboratory-related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment, know-how of polymer and/or rubber laboratory is an advantage
- Development-minded team player with good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good Finnish and English skills are required
Experience or strong interest in polymer, composite, biomaterials, or recycled materials is highly desirable.

This is a fixed-term parental leave substitute position which would start at the beginning of January 2026 and last approximately until August 2027. The employment is initially fixed-term, with the potential to become permanent after the parental leave substitution. We’ve planned the salary to fall within the range of 2500–3000 euros per month, depending on your expertise and experience.
